This comfortable getaway rental is located between the Talkeetna and Chugiak mountain ranges of Alaska and can accommodate up to 15 guests. There are three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one-half bath in this upper-level unit. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, the second a queen-size bed, and the third has four twin beds. There are also futons and sleeper sofas to accommodate extra guests. The first full bathroom features a corner shower, a vanity, a stand-alone clawfoot tub, and a toilet. The second full bathroom features a vanity, a tub/shower combination, and a toilet.
In the living room, guests will find a leather sofa and chair, a chaise lounge, and a flat-screen TV. A second cozy sitting area on the bedroom level has a plush sofa and flat-screen TV. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a gas stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, and a coffeemaker. Cookware, dinnerware, and all utensils are provided. The kitchen island offers seating for four. A wood cook stove is fully functioning too.
Outside, there is a private deck with patio furniture and a barbecue that has stunning mountain views and overlooks the pristine Canoe Lake, where guests can take full advantage of water toys and fishing gear for a day of fun. After the sun sets, guests can gather around the fire pit for an evening under the stars before retiring for the night.
This 2,700 square foot getaway can be rented in its entirety or as two separate units. When rented as one, an interior staircase joins the two together allowing for up to 24 guests total. Each unit has a private entrance as well as a kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, laundry, and deck with a BBQ. The retreat comes equipped with heating, on-demand hot water, Wi-Fi, cable TV, a telephone, and laundry facilities. The host kindly provides towels and linens. There is a pack-n-play, a crib mattress, and a highchair for those traveling with small children. For guests entertainment, there are a variety of board games, books, and DVD movies. Parking is available on site.
Guests of the property will have direct access to the lake for swimming, fishing, and boating. There are complimentary lake toys, fishing gear, a dock, kayaks, a canoe, and boats, as well as bicycles.

There is plenty of fun and adventure to be had right at this spectacular property. Canoe Lake is ideal for swimming, boating, and fishing. Lake toys offer fun for everyone and the kayaks and canoe are perfect for a paddling expedition. Nearby trails are excellent for walking, hiking, and biking amidst the stunning landscape. A variety of lawn games offer some friendly competition rounded out by a BBQ dinner and evening campfire.
The Mat-Su Valley is a year-round destination offering something for everyone. In the summer, golfing, hiking, whitewater rafting, and fishing are popular. A weekly farmer's market offers live music and local craft vendors. Come winter, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and dogsledding are where it is at.
Palmer itself is busy year-round hosting holiday parades, the state fair, farmer's markets, winter carnivals, and wine walks. A short, scenic drive will lead to some exciting attractions including the Knik Glacier, Matanuska Glacier, Pioneer Peak, or Hatcher Pass. Everything from boating, glacier-cruising, and paragliding to hiking, climbing, and blueberry picking can be enjoyed at these popular sites.
