Within walking distance is the scenic Bear Lake, where glampers can enjoy stunning views and water sports during the warmer months.
Nearby, glampers will find Kenai Fjords National Park, where glaciers flow from the Harding Icefield into coastal fjords. Surrounded by peaks, the fjords are a whale and porpoise habitat. Bear Creek trickles from Bear Lake, which sits just north of the property and has wonderful scenic views that can be enjoyed while boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming during summer. For the more daring visitors, Seward Helicopter Tours and Pollux Aviation offer scenic glacier tours and flights exploring the beauty of Alaska.
Only a short drive away is the spectacular Kenai Fjords National Park, while Hoben Park and the Alaska SeaLife Center are both located on the shores of the bay. At Alaska SeaLife Center, glampers can see sea lions, puffins, and octopus in the exhibits, as well as enjoying interactive tours. After a day at the center, glampers should be sure to grab a meal at one of the hot spots in the heart of the city. Popular choices include Apollo and Woody's Thai Kitchen, while a great coffee can be enjoyed from the Resurrect Art Coffee House. Additionally, there is a variety of bars and other nightlife, including a selection of breweries to visit.
