This beautiful glamping property near Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Park is a cozy studio with stunning ocean views and is separate and lockable from the main house. It has a private entrance via a side staircase. The suite rental sleeps two guests and is perfect for a romantic getaway. The furniture includes brand new organic king-size platform bed from Nest Bedding, end tables, dining table and chairs, sitting chairs, lamps, two drop leaf tables, two armoires for storage, and a futon couch.

The kitchenette is equipped with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, blender, a pancake griddle and more. Guests can also barbecue at sunset outside on the private patio. For entertainment, there is a new 19-inch DVD player along with a few good movies. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are available.

There is a self-sustaining rainwater catchment system at this glamping accommodation, so water conservation is requested and appreciated. In addition, the property is just a two-minute drive from an uncrowded black pebble beach with great snorkeling. Read More

    Winter rates (November through April) are higher, as well as Ironman week. Christmas week (December 26 to 29) must be booked as a minimum block (it can be more nights, but not less), and the same goes for New Year's week (December 26 to January 2).

    There is a refundable security deposit of $180. This must be sent by Paypal before arrival and will be held until check-out. Hawaii excise and accommodations tax of 14.42% in cash upon is included in the total rate.

    There is a minimum age of 25 for renters. In addition, there is a maximum capacity of two guests, and the accommodation is not fit for babies or toddlers. One adult and one older child is, however, permitted.

    This rural, ocean-view glamping property is located between mile marker 97 and 96 in South Kona in the district of Captain Cook, Hawaii. The center of Captian Cook is approximately a 25-minute drive from the property where guests can find restaurants, markets, and shops. The studio is just a two-minute drive to a secluded, uncrowded, black pebble beach with easy access to great activities, such as snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming. Unlike beaches in town, it's very uncrowded and most days guests will have the whole beach to themselves.     There is an array of activities for guests to take advantage of while glamping at this property. The beach is close by to the site and is a pebble cove with a protected bay. Guests can go snorkeling along the finger reefs (in calm conditions), which is an excellent experience. The beach is a true best-kept secret. Shore divers love this area, also known for its abundant sea life, startling pinnacles, and breathtaking coral gardens. (The Kona Aggressor dive charter parks is just to the north of the bay). Kayaking is premier and it's easy to launch (in calm conditions) from the glamping sites paved beach parking lot. The beach is about two minutes away by a steep road. Glampers can walk it but driving is recommended. Additionally, guests can go hiking along the ancient King's Trail nearby.

    Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is approximately one hour and 10 minutes drive from the glamping site. Guests can take a Crater Rim Drive Tour, a Ranger Tour, hike amazing trails, or go birdwatching. There are currently two live eruption sites that await the visitor. There are also many areas for guests to relax and take a picnic.
