This beautiful glamping property near Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Park is a cozy studio with stunning ocean views and is separate and lockable from the main house. It has a private entrance via a side staircase. The suite rental sleeps two guests and is perfect for a romantic getaway. The furniture includes new organic king-size platform bed from Nest Bedding, end tables, dining table and chairs, sitting chairs, lamps, two drop leaf tables, two armoires for storage, and a futon couch.
The kitchenette is equipped with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, a blender, a pancake griddle and more. Guests can also barbecue at sunset outside on the private patio. However, there is no oven, but guests can easily cook up light meals. For entertainment, there is a 19-inch DVD player along with a few good movies. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are available.
There is a self-sustaining rainwater catchment system at this glamping accommodation, so water conservation is requested and appreciated. In addition, the property is just a two-minute drive from an uncrowded black pebble beach with great snorkeling.
This glamping property offers the most amazing views of the ocean and vistas from the private and pleasant cement patio outside of the accommodation. On the patio, guests can find a picnic table, a table, and chairs to relax while enjoying the incredible views. There is also a gas barbecue grill for grilling up that great island fish or island-grown beef. Glampers will have free use of the hosts high-quality U.S. divers snorkeling equipment (with signed waiver) beach umbrella, beach cooler, chairs, sunshades, reef shoes, surfwear, noodles, beach towels, and beach mats. There is free, reliable Wi-Fi within the glamping accommodation.
This property offers spectacular sunsets in the evenings, amidst the sounds of hundreds of roosting mynah birds, (depending on the time of year). It's tranquil and dark out—and simply a great location to experience the real vibe of Authentic Kona, Hawaii.

There is an array of activities for guests to take advantage of while glamping at this property. The beach is close by to the site and is a pebble cove with a protected bay. Guests can go snorkeling along the finger reefs (in calm conditions), which is an excellent experience. The beach is a true best-kept secret. Shore divers love this area, also known for its abundant sea life, startling pinnacles, and breathtaking coral gardens. (The Kona Aggressor dive charter parks is just to the north of the bay). Kayaking is premier and it's easy to launch (in calm conditions) from the glamping sites paved beach parking lot. The beach is about two minutes away by a steep road. Glampers can walk it but driving is recommended. Additionally, guests can go hiking along the ancient King's Trail nearby.
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is approximately one hour and 10 minutes drive from the glamping site. Guests can take a Crater Rim Drive Tour, a Ranger Tour, hike amazing trails, or go birdwatching. There are currently two live eruption sites that await the visitor. There are also many areas for guests to relax and take a picnic.
