This magical room is situated on the ground floor of the main house and offers guests the perfect relaxing retreat near Haleakala National Park, Hawaii. Inspired by Dr. John C. Lilly—a famous dolphin scientist—the room has been decorated to portray nature's beauty and features a number of his books. The suite is fitted with a custom-built bamboo poster bed, as well as a bamboo writing desk and lounge chair. There is one private bathroom inside, or guests can use the wonderful Mandir Temple outdoor shower, which allows glampers to truly connect with nature. Guests will also find plenty of closet space and amenities such as a hairdryer and hangers are provided.
This property was ecologically built and adorned with spiritual art and handcrafted masterpieces from Pacific and Asian countries. The land was created and designed with ecologically friendly concepts in mind. The hosts are recognized as tireless pioneers and champions in living harmoniously with using the best and cleanest technologies available today. The site is completely off-the-grid and utilizes only sustainable energy sources, such as solar power, well water, and permaculture techniques in the garden.
All of their accommodations have stunning ocean views. It is the perfect place to soak up the sun or meditate. Guests will share a communal kitchen and living room. There is only Wi-Fi access in the main house, where guests are welcome to download their messages anytime. The rest of the land is electromagnetic-free—only downloads from Mother Nature. The hosts consider this to be a first-class nature treatment.

This is a legally permitted bed and breakfast: Maui Permit #BBPH2009/0003, Hawaii Permit #SUP2 2007/0005, and Hawaii Tax ID #W40484296-01.
There are taxes due upon check-in: This site has a legal bed and breakfast permit by the County of Maui, therefore the Transient State Tax and General Excise Tax of 13.42% is mandatory and due upon arrival in cash. This tax is not collected by this booking site.
For late arrivals: The normal check-in time is between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. There is an additional $45 charge for late arrivals after 6 p.m. and $65 after 10 p.m. until 11 p.m. There is no check-in after 11 p.m. Guests are asked to please make sure they have informed the hosts of their arrival time at least 48 hours ahead.

There is absolutely no smoking indoors. This is an off-the-grid and sustainable living area, so guests are encouraged to conserve electricity and water. The products used are only biodegradable cleaning products and the entire land and gardens are organic. They only provide in-house towels. Guests can rent beach towels. They are two for $5 or one for $3. No camping gear storage in the accommodation needs to be stored in car or outside.
There is a guest book with detailed information about the place, with tips and instructions to enjoy living off the grid with great places to dine and other activity possibilities. Guests will also receive a map of the land and trails and a yoga schedule and other activities, they might be interested in, upon arrival.
This property operates on solar energy from panels installed on their buildings. The water is pumped directly from their own well, and all of the residents live sustainably and self-sufficiently from the land through organic farming. Glampers will not be on a manicured resort, and the trails are natural and need to be exercised with caution.

Guests can enjoy beautiful hiking trails, waterfall lagoons, and other romantic settings only 15 minutes from town. Maui Island is a small island, and it is easy to visit the forest reserves and the Haleakala National Park. Those looking to relax can take advantage of nature's tranquility and visit the temples where glampers can rest and meditate. A leisurely stroll discovering the area is the perfect way to clear guests minds and the beautiful plants and flowers and on-site chickens are sure to put a smile on glampers faces. Those looking for more of an adventure can follow the ocean trail, which is a cliff trail that takes about half an hour to reach the ocean. It is worth the challenge as hikers will be treated to pristine, untouched beauty where dolphins and turtles are often spotted. In winter, whales can also be seen. It is a truly magical experience.
