This cozy cottage and gazebo rental on Maui Island near Wailuku, Hawaii, can accommodate up to two guests at a time. There are two bedrooms, the first of which is located in the cottage and contains a king-size bed, while the second is located in the octagonal gazebo and contains a double bed. There is a full shared bathroom in the cottage that is equipped with a standing shower, a toilet, a sink, and provided linens. The rental also has a fully-equipped kitchen, which includes large appliances and plenty of counter space for preparing large meals.

There is a television and DVD player mounted on the wall across from the living room sofa, inviting guests to curl up in front of a movie at night after a long day of hiking, snorkeling, or sightseeing in the park. Outside, guests will have their own veranda furnished with an outdoor sofa and patio table. Glampers will also have use of the cushioned lawn chairs in front of the lodge, where they can lie out with a good book or eat their locally-sourced breakfasts in the morning.

Each accommodation comes with at least one bedroom and one full bathroom. Guests will have a microwave and mini-fridge in the Orchid and Palms Rooms and a full refrigerator and stove in the Cottage. A toaster oven and barbecue are available, as well. There is a television with a DVD player, a CD player, and a radio in the rooms. Beach chairs, coolers, and boogie boards are also provided. Guests will also have access to the laundry room facilities. There is Wi-Fi access available and parking spaces on the property.

Each morning, glampers in the Orchid and Plams will receive a continental breakfast between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Breakfast is provided for the first morning only for Cottage guests, as the accommodation has a full kitchen.

Iao Valley State Park is just two miles down the road, where glampers can hike on the trails weaving through forests and waterfalls. The area is also ideal for horseback riding, fishing, snorkeling, and learning about the history of the region, with attractions like the Haleakala Volcano, the Maui Pineapple Plantation, and the Molokini Crater all well worth a visit. The Kahului Airport is only 20 minutes away to the east.

Guests staying at this deluxe lodge in the Iao Valley will enjoy a luxurious vacation of relaxing and sightseeing on the beautiful island of Maui. At the lodge, glampers can enjoy complimentary breakfasts each morning while gazing at the mountains just beyond the property or embark on a small hike on one of the trails around the area. The state park just two miles away boasts a number of challenging hiking trails that ascend into the mountains, and it is also home to the Iao Needle, a 1,200-foot tall rock formation that attracts large numbers of tourists and hikers every year. At the nearby Mendes Ranch, glampers can book horseback riding tours of the island, or they can head to the Maalaea Harbor on the coast to book a fishing charter trip or a whale watching trip.

At the Molokini Crater, which is about 40 minutes from the property off of Maui, glampers can go snorkeling in the morning before spending the afternoon at one of the island’s pineapple or sugarcane plantations. The Maui Ocean Center is also an often frequented location, or glampers can opt to explore the Haleakala Volcano, which tours over the island about an hour and 20 minutes to the south. Each month, Wailuku also hosts a “First Fridays” event, with live music, food trucks, performances, and art exhibits set up outside for visitors to enjoy.
