Here on the California coast, guests have endless ways to fill their days outside. Popular beaches in the area include Albion Flat Beach, Big Salmon Creek Beach, and Navarro Beach. At any one of these beaches, guests can go swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, or simply have a walk and look for shells or sea glass. To the north of the property lies the Mendocino Headlands State Park. The park has a unique mixture of pleasant, easy trails, rocky coastline, secluded beaches, and above all, amazing views. It's a great place to bring a picnic and spend the day hiking with the family. Inland, lies the Navarro River Redwoods State Park that runs along the river, following it out to the ocean. Guests can follow the river to the coast, as they hike among the redwood forest that hugs the banks of the Navarro River. Those looking for a more relaxing day along the coast can hop in the car and drive along California's Highway 1 for some scenic views and amazing photo-ops.
