The fireplace room is a cozy den for music, games, and conversation. It’s furnished with a piano, percussion instruments, cards, and board games.
The spacious bathroom facilities offer clean running water, flush toilets, and hot showers, and there are separate facilities for women and men.
This property belongs to a non-profit conservancy organization. There is a chapel that is available for religious services, meditation, conference speeches, and musical performances. There’s also a barbecue grill, a big swing, badminton, volleyball, shuffleboard, ping-pong, and horseshoe facilities, in addition to a new archery course.
Glampers might want to consider using the Adams’ Pack Station pack train to complete their trip with donkeys carrying their food and/or luggage, exactly how they did it back in 1893, for a mere $1 per pound of luggage. The type of packing they do is called “dunnage,” which means freight only, no passengers.
Guest must label all bags and boxes with their name and cabin and pay special attention to the packaging of food items, which must be at the pack station by 7:30 a.m. on Friday mornings or dropped off earlier in the week.
The camp may provide meals if specified as part of an organized event. Guests must assist in the dining room maintenance and routine under the direction of the host or manager for this service to be provided. Read More
