This serene vacation rental is located in Carmel Valley in Monterey, California, and is made up of a main house and a guest house (always rented together, never separately), accommodating up to 10 guests in total. The main house features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, while the guest house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom. Between these bedrooms, guests will find three queen-size beds, two single beds, and one bunk bed.
In the living room, there is a fireplace, a Tibetan rug, an Oriental cabinet, a writing desk, a television with a VCR player and cable TV, and a CD and cassette player with a radio. There is also an expansive book collection for guests to enjoy throughout their stay, as well as views of the pool and gardens. The fully equipped kitchen features a gas stove and oven, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a toaster, a water filter, and all necessary cookware and tableware. In addition, there is a breakfast nook with views of the pool and a skylight.
Outside, there is redwood deck next to the natural, pond-like swimming pool, which is solar heated and is typically swimmable from May through October. The hot tub is hidden behind bamboo, providing plenty of privacy for when glampers take a soak. Additionally, there is a back terrace, which guests can access from the glass doors in the dining rooms. Venturing up the back hill, guests will also find two more view decks.
Additional amenities at this glamping property include a two-car garage, high-speed Wi-Fi, a telephone with free calls to the U.S. and Canada, and a washer and dryer. Outside, guests will also find a fish pond and waterfall, as well as a charcoal barbecue.
This property consists of both a main house and a guest house. During low season, guests will have the option to rent just the main house (for up to six guests) or both the main house and the guest house (for up to 10 guests). However, in high season, both must always be rented. (Please note that they are never rented separately; there will be only one group of guests at a time at this property.)

If an active vacation is what glampers seek, guests need not look further than the superb hiking available at both Garland Park and the Los Padres National Forest. Glampers can also visit the Carmel Area beaches to partake in some fun in the sun, as well as the Monterey Bay Aquarium for a fun, educational experience. Horseback riding and cycling are both options, too. There are many places in the area to rent bicycles or gear for other excursions and book tours for activities such as sailing, whale watching, scuba diving, and kayaking. Golfing aficionados will appreciate the variety of courses available, too, so guests should remember to bring their clubs along. For more leisurely entertainment, guests can enjoy a wine tasting at one of the area's wineries, as well as a delicious meal out at one of the international dining establishments.
