This rustic cabin rental along the Trinity River in Northern California can accommodate three guests. This cabin has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, as well as a twin bed in the living room along with the sofa. A fourth person can sleep on the sofa for an additional fee, too. There is another cabin available to be rented with this cabin for an additional $35 per night, which adds two more guests to the maximum capacity allowed. There is also a $15.75 fee for each additional guest per night, after three people. All linens and towels are provided.

In this glamping accommodation, there is a bathroom with a vanity, a sink, a toilet, and a combination bathtub and shower. If the glamping party is more than three people, they'll also have the use of the bathroom in the trailer, which has a toilet, a sink, and a combination bathtub and shower. The bathtub in the trailer is smaller than the bathtub in the main cabin.

The living room features the aforementioned sofa, a loveseat, a small, antique secretary desk with a rolling chair, a television with DishTV, and an iPod dock. There is a dining room table in the corner in between the living room and outside of the kitchen.

In the fully-equipped kitchen, glampers will find a stove, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a refrigerator and freezer, a coffeemaker, assorted basic pantry items (spices, oil, flour, sugar, etc.), and all necessary cookware and tableware. This accommodation also comes with a wood-burning stove, as well as gas and electric heat, to make sure glampers are toasty warm when temperatures start to drop.

Other amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi; a washer and dryer, including detergent and dryer sheets; an optional housekeeper and/or private chef for additional fees; a variety of books and board and card games; and a large parking lot at the entrance to the property that can easily accommodate bigger vehicles, boats, and trailers.

Outside, there is a covered front porch, as well as a covered back porch that overlooks the river and includes patio furniture, an antique stove, a dining set, a cooling mister for summer. There is a patio along the cabin, too, that features both a gas barbecue, a Weber charcoal barbecue, and a fire pit.

There is a log swinging chair down by the river for guests who choose to relax with the peaceful noises of the river water flowing on by. Aside from the Trinity River, there also ponds nearby that make for a lovely area for the children to play around in, as the water is much warmer in comparison.

Water adventures are available for an additional charge and they include guided river kayak and raft trips as well as kayak and standup paddleboard (SUP) rentals for the lakes. The upper Trinity River offers mostly gentle meanders along with a few exciting spots, but this is not a big whitewater area most of the year. Lewiston Lake is a short drive away and Trinity Lake is a bit beyond it so guests have lots of options.

Guided kayak trips include excellent lessons prior to heading out on the beautiful Trinity River and are suitable for beginners as well as experienced paddlers. One of the hosts is the only person in the world to have paddled a kayak from Victoria, Canada, to Ensenada, Mexico and you can be sure you'll be in capable hands. Guided raft trips are also available and are great for even tiny kids and dogs.

This cozy riverfront cabin dates back to the mid-1800s. It is located on the Trinity River near Douglas City, about 10 minutes from Weaverville in Northern California. It’s also only 45 minutes west of Redding, but it truly feels a world away.

The shared barbecue patio sits between this glamping cabin and another glamping vacation rental on the property. Each cabin is oriented so that guests have their privacy, but some parties rent all of the cabins for small weddings, family reunions, and company off-sites.

There is a salmon hole. The Trinity River is renowned for salmon, steelhead, trout, and more. Winter steelhead are a huge draw, especially for fly fishers.
