There is an indoor dining area for four people behind one of the sofas and a second dining table for six outside on the deck. The second living room has another dining area for six, a large L-shaped sofa, a wide-screen television, a fireplace, and access to a second deck area.

The large open-space kitchen comes fully equipped with a double sink, several stoves, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. There is also a game room for entertainment where guests will find a pool table, a ping-pong table, and a treadmill. Other amenities include a landline phone, a VCR, a DVD player, a washer and dryer, and free Wi-Fi.

Outside, guests will find fully-furnished decks overlooking either the forest or the river. There is also a barbecue grill outside, hammocks, and the Yuba River flowing underneath the retreat. From the property, guests can explore the surrounding acres of forests and hiking trails, or go mountain biking, kayaking, or fishing.

This unique property has been ingeniously-designed by a renowned San Francisco architect and combines an unusual position above the river, proximity to nature, and modern amenities. Indoors, guests will find several wood-burning and gas fireplaces, a washer and dryer, and ironing facilities.
