Foresthill

Foresthill got its start as a gold mining town. It’s located in central California on the North and Middle Forks of the American River, making it a great place for placer mining. It lies adjacent to the Tahoe National Forest and the Eldorado National Forest. Spend the day amongst the trees in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range hiking, picnicking, mountain biking, and admiring the beautiful wildflowers. In the summer, head to Lake Tahoe for swimming, boating, paddleboarding, and more water sports. This beautiful blue gem surrounded by mountains is a great place to spend the day soaking up the sunshine. In the winter, try skiing, snowboarding, tubing, or ice skating at one of the many Tahoe ski resorts. Make sure to include Foresthill, California on your next glamping adventure.
