Right down the road, guests will find Gaviota State Park—2,787 acres of wilderness along the Pacific coast, filled with hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails (not to mention mountain lions; guests should take caution here). Only 10 to 20 minutes away, they will also find a number of beaches, such Gaviota Beach, Refugio State Beach, Goleta Beach, and El Capitan Beach State Park.
Zooming out to the broader Santa Ynez Valley, guests will find a picturesque countyside composed of rolling hills, verdant pastures, lush vineyards, and the rugged peaks of the Santa Ynez Mountains to the south and the San Rafael Mountains to the north. Among these attractions are many fruit and vegetable stands selling locally grown produce—but guests will not have to go far to find one, as there is a blueberry farm right on the ranch!
