Luxury Bell Tent Rental in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of Northern CaliforniaGrass Valley, California (United States) view map
Description of Glamping Units
This luxury bell tent rental is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Grass Valley in Northern California and can accommodate up to four guests. The bell tent is 16 feet in diameter and features a queen-size bed and two camping mats. There is a play crib available if guests would like to bring along their baby. The hosts provide two extra sleeping mats if people are traveling in a part of four, but they do not provide the linens or pillows for the two extra people.
The bath house is located just behind the bell tent site, and it has electricity for charging phones and for using the stove and fridge. The bath house has an electric stove, a few pots and pans, utensils, bowls, small plates, cups, wine glasses, ground coffee, and a French press. Guests should make sure to bring their own cooking oil. There are solar lights along the path that help illuminate the walk from the tent at night. The bell tent itself does not have electricity but is very comfortable for hanging out and reading with strong LED lanterns. No Wi-Fi is available.
There is a hiking trail which starts at the glamping site and switchbacks down to our creek and beyond where it connects to many other trails in Woodpecker Canyon. There is a private hang-out area with comfortable lounge chairs down in the forest by the creek, which the trail will directly take guests to. There is a beautiful fire pit outside of the tent with chopped wood and a metal grill if guests want to cook over it or just have a campfire.
The door to the bell tent has a mosquito net, but guests should bring mosquito protection and extra layers if they want to be on the porch around sunset, as the mosquitos are very bad in the spring and early summer.
The hosts' home is on the same property as the tent location, but the glamping site is on a lower level, is very private, and sound does not travel. An unoccupied, run-down cottage is also on the property near to where guests park. Read More
