If you’re visiting Los Angeles, there’s much more to do than taking photos with the Hollywood sign or trekking up its hills (although that is a scenic exercise). How about mixing it up a little and enjoying horseback rides along Beachwood Drive, where you’ll still get a glimpse of the Hollywood sign. For the outdoors, nearby Hollywood lie a number of interesting outdoor attractions, including some of the prettiest beaches you’ll see in the region. Dockweiler Beach is home to a breathtaking coastline that makes it a perfect location for enjoying a picnic as the sunsets. Then there’s Matador Beach. The clandestine beach offers a break away from the bustle of LA, and you can also catch a nice sunset there.
