Guests can descend a staircase from the bedroom into the living room, where there is a sofa, a flat-screen TV, and a wood-burning fireplace and stove. The property is conveniently located to over 200 acres of dense pine forest in Idyllwild Park, where guests can hike and ride bikes along several miles of scenic nature trails. Guests can take the Summit Trail up to the Idyllwild Nature Center to take photos, watch birds, and view wildlife.
Guests can spend the day at Mount San Jacinto State Park, where they can go hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. Additionally, guests can visit the desert and unique rock formations at Joshua Tree National Park. The park has more opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing, as well as horseback riding, ranching, and stargazing.
Guests can drive over to Lake Hemet for fishing, boating, canoeing, and kayaking. They can also go whitewater rafting in the San Jacinto River.
Guests can take a break from outdoor adventure and head into downtown Idyllwild for shops, restaurants, vineyards, and breweries. In the summer, music fans can attend the Jazz in the Pines festival at the nearby Idyllwild Arts Center.
Guests can travel to Palm Springs for hot springs, spas, golf courses, and upscale boutiques. They can go hiking, biking, and horseback riding on trails along Coachella Valley, where the famous Coachella music festival is held every spring. In addition, guests can take day trips to Los Angeles, where they can go sightseeing on city tours or go surfing in the Pacific Ocean.
