La Quinta

This resort city in southern California is just waiting to be explored. La Quinta was once a secluded haven for Hollywood celebrities. The beautiful Santa Rosa Mountains are the most prominent feature of the region, where several hiking trails can be found. Rock climbers can be sure to find cliff faces and mountain climbers should head for Toro Peak, the highest peak in the range at 8,716 feet. The city offers several local parks to explore like Eisenhower Park and Pioneer Park. Not far from San Diego or Los Angeles, La Quinta is easy to reach, and is close to the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Though it can get hot in the summer, this park has tons of unique desert vegetation and depending on the rainfall in the spring, visitors can witness the super bloom. Don’t forget to include La Quinta, California as part of your next glamping trip itinerary.
