This cozy and luxurious cabin, in Northern California, is a two story historic home with modern conveniences and lots of charm. The lower level, recently remodelled, is updated and polished, while the upper level retains all the flavor and fun of the river’s heyday. It has three bedrooms and can sleep up to eight guests. There are a total of two queen-size beds, one single-size day bed, one double-size futon, and one single-size bed. There are two luxury bathrooms.

This glamping cabin has a fantastic kitchen equipped with a cooking range, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffeemaker, and cooking utensils. There is a dining table that can seat up to six and a bar area that can seat two. For entertainment, there are two cable televisions and a DVD player. The entire luxury cabin has propane heating.     The maximum occupancy is eight, including adults and children.
    Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.
    On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 3 vehicles; there is space for up to 2 cars in front of the house; street parking is available on a first-come first-served basis. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited.

    The washer and dryer are shared with the house next door. They are located in the basement of the next door house.

    There is an additional $218 cleaning fee per stay in this vacation home rental in California. Included in this fee is a $49 non-refundable vacation rental damage protection plan fee for all reservations. This plan, provided through CSA Travel Protection, covers guests for up to $3,000 in accidental damages to the home during their stay.

    In order to activate the vacation rental damage protection plan (included in the cleaning fee), guests will need to provide their billing address, phone number, and email address upon submitting their reservation. If this is an issue, please inform the host before making a reservation.

    After making a reservation and providing contact information, guests will be emailed a guest agreement with the site's terms in detail to sign and return.

    The maximum number of people allowed on the property is eight. Exceptions can be made for children under three. In general, two additional daytime guests may be allowed at no extra cost, as long as hosts have given guests prior written approval. This home does not have a permit for parties, large gatherings, or events.

    Up to two dogs are welcome to join in the glamping experience per reservation. There is no extra pet fee or pet deposit, but guests should inform the host they are bringing a dog so they can make sure they are covered under the damage protection plan. Please note that all unattended dogs must be crated.

    Guests will pick up keys at the rental office upon arrival. Key pickup and check-in time is 4 p.m., and check-out time is 12 p.m.. More detailed driving directions and check-in instructions will be provided upon booking confirmation. The main office is open until 5 p.m. each day, and the office has a lockbox for after-hour key pick up for guests arriving after 5 p.m. The main office has an emergency line available to guests after office hours.

    This glamping cabin is available seasonally from May through November. There is a default two-night minimum stay year round, excluding Thanksgiving and Memorial Day Weekend. From May 22nd through June and during the month of September, there is a three-night minimum stay. In July and August, there is a seven-night minimum stay.     Monte Rio is a pleasant Northern California community near the town of Guerneville. Within minutes, guests of this luxury cabin can visit the historic Village Inn and Restaurant, the Rio Theater, or local shops. The Sonoma coastline is only a short drive away and has many fine restaurants, shops, and galleries to browse.     The back side of the property runs adjacent to the path to the Villa Grande Beach, one of the nicest beaches on the Russian River. Path access is just one door down, perfect for those who don't want to venture far for a fun day out.
