Olema

Just north of San Francisco Bay Area, Olema, California is a great glamping destination. It’s close enough to the big city to make it easily accessible, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to create a relaxed and outdoor oriented atmosphere. One of the local hiking paths features visible fault rifts which are the result of the 1906 earthquake. Definitely make sure to visit Point Reyes National Seashore, where you can go hiking along the coastal cliffs. Keep an eye out for migrating whales in the distance. The Point Reyes Lighthouse is also worth finding. The intrepid surfer can take advantage of the huge swells if they can brave the cold water.
