Water lovers will only be a short and scenic drive away from Shaver Lake's shore, as well as 40 minutes away from Huntington Lake. Both lakes are excellent for swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Shaver Lake has wilderness trails where guests can ride horses or mountain bikes. Additionally, guests can fish, kayak, and raft on the San Joaquin River.
Winter sports enthusiasts can drive up to China Peak Mountain Resort for skiing and snowboarding down the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They can ride a ski lift up the mountain for gorgeous views and snapshots of the alpine wilderness and Huntington Lake. Guests can rent bikes at the resort or bring their own to ride around the lakeshore. The resort recently opened a 27-hole golf course.
The cabin is close to the center of Shaver Lake village. Guests can stroll through markets and antique shops, or enjoy delicious food at restaurants and cafes.
