This budget vacation rental is located near Squaw Valley, California, and can accommodate six guests. It has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Each of the bedrooms is furnished with a queen-size bed. Two of the bedrooms share a full bathroom, and the other one features an ensuite bathroom. One bedroom comes with a king-size bed, the second has a queen-size bed, and the last has two twin beds. Two of the bedrooms have a flat-screen television. Linens and towels are provided.

Guests will enjoy shared access to a variety of facilities at the Rocky Ridge community to which the rental belongs. These include two swimming pools and spas, a clubhouse with restrooms, a community beach and pier, mooring buoys, a barbecue area, a playground, three full-size tennis courts, two bocce ball courts, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball court. This vacation rental is located in Tahoe City, California, where it is situated in the gated community of Rocky Ridge, which is set on 60 acres of pine tree wooded grounds skirting the northwestern shore of Lake Tahoe. Here, guests will enjoy a peaceful forest setting, scenic views of the lake, and access to a range of community facilities, including swimming pools, spas, sports courts, and a community beach and pier. The community borders Burton Creek State Park, where guests will find six miles of multi-use trails weaving through 2,000 acres of alpine meadows, riparian forests, and woodlands full of conifers and shrubs.
The rental is just a 0.7-mile, one-minute drive from the Tahoe State Recreation Area and a two-mile, six-minute drive from the 64 Acres Tahoe Rim Trailhead. The latter provides access to the 165-mile Tahoe Rim Trail, which winds all the way around Lake Tahoe, passing through Tahoe National Forest, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, and the Mt. Rose Wilderness along the way.
About 14 minutes to the northeast, guests will find North Tahoe Regional Park, which features a network of multi-use trails, tennis courts, a disc golf course, and a treetop adventure course nestled within a forest of pines, firs, and cedars. The forest provides habitats for a variety of birds, including red-tailed hawks, chickadees, and stellar jays.
Guests interested in visiting the ski resorts of northern Lake Tahoe will be well-positioned, with the rental situated just 15 minutes from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, 16 minutes from Squaw Valley Resort, and 25 minutes from Northstar California Resort. At the adjacent Burton Creek State Park, guests will find six miles trails for hiking and biking in the summer and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. For more trails, guests can visit nearby North Tahoe Regional Park and the 64 Acres Tahoe Rim Trailhead. The latter provides access to the 165-mile Tahoe Rim Trail on which guests can go hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
At North Tahoe Regional Park, guests can also play disc golf and enjoy a treetop adventure course that consists of 70 tree platforms that are linked by bridges and zip lines, with different courses available for all skill levels.
For skiing and snowboarding, guests can hit the slopes at nearby Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, Squaw Valley Resort, and Northstar California Resort. For golfing, guests can visit Tahoe City Golf Course.
