This cozy cabin chalet, with a hot tub, is located near Donner Lake, California and has lots of privacy, surrounded by pine and white-barked birch trees. Accommodating six guests, this is perfect for the ultimate mountain getaway for either families or groups.

It is a spacious one-bedroom cabin with imported art, an antique wood stove, and a loft. The master bedroom, on the first floor, has a queen-size bed with sliding door access to the private deck. The loft has a two-sided space with a double bed and a single-over-double bunk bed. The large windows throughout the cabin capture the stunning natural beauty outside and allow light to stream through. There is one bathroom featuring, a bathtub/shower, a toilet, and a sink. Other amenities include, WiFi, a TV with cable, and a washer and dryer.

After a day full of adventure, guests can cozy up in the living room next to the antique wood stove or take a relaxing soak in the private hot tub on the deck.

The cozy living room has a tall wooden ceiling, wood stove fireplace with a stone backdrop, and glass doors that open up to the spacious deck outside, which has a hot tub and grill. It’s a great place to relax after a long day of skiing or snowboarding! The cabin chalet boasts of beautiful imported art like a Colombian wool rug and puppets from Thailand. There are a washing machine and dryer for guests convenience.

Guests have access to the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center which is a state-of-the-art facility. It has personalized workout classes, a kids club, pool, sauna, fitness center, hot tubs, and spa.

Winter is the best time of year in the Tahoe region. Just five miles away is the small ski resort Tahoe Donner Skin Area that has four ski lifts and 14 trails. Along the Donner Pass of Sierra Nevada is Sugar Bowl Ski Resort. The mountain has more lifts, trails, terrain parks, and has an elevation of 6,883 ft. Royal Gorge is North America’s largest cross-country resort with eight distinct trail systems and nine different warming huts across 6,000 acres that are integrated with the Sugar Bowl.

For activities closer to the cabin, guests can visit the Tahoe Donner Trout Creek Recreation Center for access to a fitness center and pools. During the summer, the Beach Club Marina has paddle boards, sailing, and docks to relax on. There are also two different golf courses in the area for guests to choose from.
