Description of Glamping Units
This Airstream rental near Los Angeles is small, but does not slack on modern or cozy features. The main bed is a comfortable double bed, and the dining table also folds down into an extra single bed, making this rental perfect for a couple or a small family. Heating and air conditioning keep the Airstream comfortable no matter what the weather brings. The kitchenette includes two propane burners, a sink, a fridge, and a microwave. The Airstream has its own private shower, so guests needn't worry about sharing facilities with other guests. There is an off-the-grid toilet a few hundred feet from the rental.
The Airstream includes a nice deck that's large enough for sunbathing or yoga, and faces the sun in the morning. The Airstream can be run on solar/battery power or plugged in—guest's choice. Towels, sheets, pillows, and basic cooking and eating tools are provided. The property has a canoe that guests can take out on to the lake, and guests can also accompany the hosts during milking and feeding chores with the goats on-site.

Ranch meals can be delivered to the accommodation by advanced arrangement. If guests prefer to cook but want to use ingredients from the ranch, the host can also deliver ingredients.

Guests have access to the full 70-acre ranch and adjacent forest service lands for hiking, picnicking, canoeing, birdwatching, etc., with the exception of the area immediately surrounding the private residence of the host. Outwith the property, guests can try gliding at the nearby Crystalaire Airport in Llano (about 10 minutes drive from the ranch). Glider rides are offered Friday - Monday and generally release over Pinon Ridge and fly right over the ranch.
Big Pines Zipline is one of the most ambitious zip-line courses in the nation, offering heights of up to 300 feet off the forest floor, lengths of over 1,500 feet, and speeds of up to 55 mph. And the new Mountain View Tour provides a unique experience—imagine leaping off a tree platform in controlled free-fall!
The Angeles National Forest offers 557 miles of hiking and equestrian trails which include 73 miles of National Recreation Trails and 176 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). These trails offer ample choices for all, from beginners to experienced outdoor enthusiasts.
Mountain High is about 15 miles West of the ranch, and provides skiing in the winter, and disc golf and other activities in the off season.
Wrightwood Certified Farmers Market is open on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. year round and is 15 miles from the Ranch in the heart of Wrightwood.
