The main room, which contains the living room, kitchen, and dining table for six, is well-lit from the large windows overlooking the pines of the forest outside. There is a plush patterned sofa facing the stone fireplace, television, and book shelves, with additional cushioned armchairs and polished wooden tables in the sitting area. Guests will also find an antique piano in the corner for playing a relaxing melody as everyone unwinds by the fire or in front of a movie.

The second-story deck outside, with its ample space and carved wood picnic bench, is also a wonderful place for guests to appreciate the beautiful wilderness of the national park, especially considering the proximity to the Great Sequoias of Mariposa Grove just up the road.

This cozy log cabin retreat has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, accommodating up to six guests at a time. The property belongs to North Wawona, a charming community with a library, gift shop, lodge, and campground just a few minutes from the South Fork Merced River. Yosemite National Park, which surrounds Wawona for hundreds of miles, is worthy of its historic praise, as the land is covered in majestic forests with rushing rivers and beautiful waterfalls in almost every corner of the park. The park sits at the foot of the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, which dots the landscape of the west coast of the United States. The cabin itself is conveniently close to a few noteworthy Yosemite landmarks, like the Chilnualna Falls and the Pioneer Yosemite History Center. There are also fishing and rafting opportunities on the Merced and Tuolumne Rivers, or guided gold panning tours where glampers can try to harvest gold from a Yosemite stream. Mariposa and Yosemite Villages offer plenty of art galleries, boutique shops, spas, and a variety of restaurants, as well as heritage tours and cultural centers for more information on the area.
