This luxury log cabin getaway is situated near Mariposa Grove in the heart of Yosemite National Park in Wawona, California, and accommodates up to 10 lucky glampers. There are four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The first master suite boasts a comfortable king-size bed, a cozy fireplace, a flat screen television, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a double sink vanity, a toilet, a whirlpool tub, and a standing shower. The second master bedroom has another king-size bed, a television, and an ensuite bathroom featuring a sink, a toilet, and whirlpool tub and shower combination. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and a television, while the fourth bedroom has a full bed. Each of the bedrooms offers a cozy and homey feel with its beautiful wood paneling and lovely woodland themed comforters. In the third hall bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a standing shower. Linens and towels are provided.
The cabin’s main room is ideal for entertaining large groups, boasting a spacious open floor plan with a living area, a large kitchen, and a dining nook. In the living space, there are two plush sofas, two leather recliners, a stunning stone-faced fireplace, and a flat screen television. The fully equipped kitchen also features impressive granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar for four, and all of the necessities for hosting large groups and whipping up a delicious home cooked meal. It comes with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a garbage disposal, and a dishwasher so that cleanup is a breeze. Adjacent, there is a wooden dining table seating eight.
Outside, a covered private deck offers a built-in gas barbecue and a long, rustic picnic table overlooking the quiet cedar and pine tree forest of Yosemite National Park, which will serve as guests’ backyard during their vacation.
Glampers will have access to entertainment facilities including satellite television, a DVD player, a VHS player, Wi-Fi, and a library of books. For guests’ comfort, there is central air conditioning and heating, as well as a wood burning fireplace. Glampers will also enjoy luxurious whirlpool tubs in both of the master suite bathrooms.
The telephone also allows guests to make free domestic and international calls with some limitations. When the weather gets cooler, visitors can try their hand at snowshoeing through the neighboring meadows, ice skating in Yosemite Valley, or skiing at Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area. For a bit of the local history, visitors will love taking a ride on the historic Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad steam train.
