This pet-friendly cabin retreat is situated in the heart of Yosemite National Park in Wawona, California close to Half Dome and accommodates up to four guests. There is one bedroom and one full bathroom. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed with beautiful wood-paneled walls, while a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room provides additional sleeping space if needed. In the full bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a standing shower. Linens and towels are provided.

The cabin’s main room is great for entertaining, boasting an open floor plan with a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining space. The living room features a plush sofa, an armchair, and a flat screen television. Adjacent, there is a dining table for four and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, lovely wooden cabinets, and all of the essentials, including a stove, an oven, a microwave, and a refrigerator.

Outside, a private back deck boasts a gas barbecue, a dining table, and a picnic table overlooking the stunning Yosemite National Park.

Situated in the heart of Yosemite National Park in Wawona, California, this accommodation is surrounded by the woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. With endless trails right out the back door like the Wawona Swinging Bridge, Chilnualna Falls, and Wawona Meadow Loop, this property is perfect for outdoor adventurers. The Merced River is also just around the corner and offers plenty of swimming and fishing spots during the warmer months. Some other nearby outdoor attractions include Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area, Yosemite Zip Lines and Adventure Ranch, and Mariposa Grove, the largest grove of sequoias in the Yosemite Park. The Madera County area is also full of wineries such as the Idle Hour Winery and Fasi Estate Winery. For those that are looking for a bit of history, the Wawona Pioneer History Center and the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad are both great options for a visit. Located about an hour and a half north of Fresno and about four hours from Sacramento and San Francisco, this rental is the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

With endless trails through Yosemite National Park right at their fingertips, guests will never tire of hiking, biking, geocaching, and rock climbing. Plenty of gold panning opportunities are also nearby for both the beginners and the experienced. If guests want to stay a bit closer to town, they can take a carriage ride at the Big Trees Stables, go for a scavenger hunt to visit all of Wawona’s 20+ carved bears, or spend the afternoon practicing their swing at the Big Trees Golf Course. When the weather gets cooler, visitors can try their hand at snowshoeing through the neighboring meadows, ice skating in Yosemite Valley, or skiing at Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area. For a bit of the local history, visitors will love taking a ride on the historic Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad steam train.
