This secluded, one-bedroom, one-bathroom log cabin getaway for two is situated in the heart of Yosemite National Park in Wawona, California close to Half Dome. The bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed with beautiful wood-paneled walls. In the full bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a bathtub/shower combo. Linens and towels are provided.

The cabin’s main room is great for entertaining, boasting an open floor plan with a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining space. The living room features two plush sofas, lounge chairs, a flat screen television, and a beautiful stone-faced fireplace. Adjacent, there is a dining nook with a bench and two chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with white tile countertops, lovely wooden cabinets, two breakfast bars, and all of the essentials, including a stove, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher.

Outside, a large private deck boasts a gas barbecue, a dining table, lounge chairs and a picnic table overlooking the stunning Yosemite National Park.

Glampers will have access to entertainment facilities including satellite television, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, and a library of movies and books. For guests’ comfort, there is heating, ceiling fans, and cozy wood burning fireplace. The telephone also allows guests to make free domestic and international calls with some limitations. Outside, there is a spacious deck with a gas barbecue grill, a picnic table, a dining table, and lounge chairs, providing the perfect spot to cook out and unwind after a fun day exploring the area.

This area offers endless possibilities for exploration and family-friendly activities. Glampers seeking an outdoor adventure have found the right place. With endless trails through Yosemite National Park right at their fingertips, guests will never tire of hiking, biking, geocaching, and rock climbing. Plenty of gold panning opportunities are also nearby for both the beginners and the experienced. If guests want to stay a bit closer to town, they can take a carriage ride at the Big Trees Stables, go for a scavenger hunt to visit all of Wawona’s 20+ carved bears or spend the afternoon practicing their swing at the Big Trees Golf Course. When the weather gets cooler, visitors can try their hand at snowshoeing through the neighboring meadows, ice skating in Yosemite Valley, or skiing at Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area. For a bit of the local history, visitors will love taking a ride on the historic Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad steam train.
