Yosemite National Park is a paradise for any nature lover. With hiking trails both beginner-worthy and extreme, roaring waterfalls to marvel at, wildlife to admire, granite walls and boulders to climb and streams to wade in, it’s nearly impossible to be bored. Yosemite is an outdoor playground year-round. In the summer months, tourists can be found scattered around the valley floor enjoying a picnic in the shadow El Capitan. In the colder months, winter sports enthusiasts take to the ski slopes at Badger Pass.

Yosemite Village offers plenty of places to grab a bite, shop for souvenirs and admire the art and photography of the region, too. Other Yosemite must-dos include catching a sunset at Glacier Point Lookout, watching world-class rock climbers climb El Capitan through binoculars from the valley and hiking up a waterfall on the Mist Trail on a crisp morning.
