This luxury tipi can sleep up to three glampers, with one double mattress and one twin mattress. There are down and wool blankets for guests to stay toasty warm with at night. The luxury tipi also has a covered fire pit in the middle to keep the accommodation cozy. The bathroom is separate from the accommodation and has a composting toilet and an outdoor shower with hot water.
A new addition to the tipi is a small sink with running water and a small water feature to make guests feel like they are camped next to a mountain stream. Weather in the Bend area is characteristic of the Oregon high desert, which is to say sunny, pleasant daytime temperatures, but cooler nighttime temperatures. Aside from the separate bathroom, the outdoor kitchen is also separate from the tipi. There is a roof over the kitchen. In the kitchen area guests will find a gas grill, pots,pans, tea pot, french press, paper plates, coffee mugs, wine glasses, salt, pepper, olive oil, utensils, paper towels, hand towels, soap and there is a sink with cold running water. There is a dining area with seating for four, covered by an umbrella next to a small fire pit by a small water fall and pond It sits inside of a six-foot high privacy wall. Sunriver is located less than 20 miles south of Bend, almost directly in the middle of the state of Oregon. Bend is the largest city in central Oregon and offers guests a huge range of national parks to visit and attractions to see. The glamping site backs up to the Deschutes River, a tributary of the Columbia River, that helped mark the way for those who traveled the Oregon Trail in the 1800s. From the mountains to the lakes, Bend's outdoor sporting activities include skiing, rafting, fishing, biking, rock climbing, golfing and much more, for a fun and adventurous escape while still allowing for a peaceful getaway. For outdoor adventurers, guests can use the private dock for kayaking, swimming, or fishing. Biking, hiking, golfing, and cross country skiing is also easily done right out of the back door of the property. Mount Bachelor, which is only 16 miles away from the glamping site, is perfect for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. An excursion to the High Desert is also only 30 miles east of the glamping site and offers plenty more opportunities.
Right outside of the glamping site is the Sunriver Resort, which has restaurants, shopping, a spa, an art gallery, a market, and a nature center and observatory, giving non-outdoorsy glampers a variety of fun things to do while the rest of the family goes on a hike.

Dogs and any other furry friends are very welcome at this glamping site and there are no breed restrictions or additional fees, however no more than three dogs per reservation. They are not allowed to chase the wildlife, and guests must pick up after their pets. There are stainless steel water and food bowls for the dogs, as well as a galvanized water tub in the garden.
