The cabin can accommodate two guests, and the only bedroom has a queen-size bed with a foam mattress, as well as a full bathroom with heated floor tiles. The living area has tall ceilings and a cozy love seat positioned in front of the toasty, wood-burning stove. This charming cabin has tall ceilings and many windows letting in lots of sunshine. There is a wood stove to enjoy on cold winter nights and a flat-screen television with cable TV and a DVD player with a selection of movies. The large wooden deck has a grill for barbecuing as well as scenic views of the Sandy River. There’s even a fire pit that is great for roasting marshmallows. Inside, the quaint kitchen has a small footprint but lovely granite counter tops.

Just off of the Mt. Hood Scenic Highway, this charming, one-bedroom cabin is located right on the Sandy River. It’s about two miles from Welches and over 42 miles from Portland. It's steps away from the Wildwood Recreation Site, a 680-acre park with many trails, picnic areas, and old growth forests sounded by the Mount Hood National Forest. The closest ski resort is Mt. Hood SkiBowl at 13 miles away. Timberline is only a 30-minute drive and Mt. Hood Meadows is a 45-minute drive. There’s snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the National Forest lands. Read More

This romantic cabin is in a quiet neighborhood and steps away from the Wildwood Recreation Site. It is a 680-acre park with many trails, picnic areas, and old growth forest surrounded by the Mount Hood National Forest. The main trails at this site - Cascade Streamwatch and The Wetlands Trails let hikers explore the area's natural stream and wetland ecosystems in a breathtaking, scenic setting.
In winter, there are multiple ski resorts to visit. Mt. Hood Skibowl is 13 miles away, Timberline is only a 30-minute drive, and Mt. Hood Meadows is a 45-minute drive northwest. Closer to home, there's snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the National Forest lands. After a great day outdoors, guests can come back to the cozy cottage, put a log on the wood stove, and snuggle on the couch.
