Camp Sherman is so far from big civilisation that glampers will be forgiven for thinking that they’ve stepped back in time on a visit to the glorious mountain landscape. Secreted away in the midst of two of Oregon’s spectacularly beautiful national forests, Willamette and Mount Hood, there are endless ways to get back to nature here – something to suit every taste. Glampers who enjoy a gentle hike can stroll through the sun-dappled woodlands (or enjoy some snow-booting in the winter months) while those who seek a challenge can scale the impressive mountain of Black Butte, Three Fingered Jack, and Mount Washington. There are picture-perfect lakes to be explored, some awe-inspiring extreme woodland sports, and a gorgeous array of wildlife to discover, and each evening can be spent snuggled up in the glamping rental.
