Eugene

The charming city of Eugene is located right on Oregon’s Willamette River, beneath the shadow of Spencer Butte. It’s the home of many famous institutions such as the University of Oregon, the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, the latter of which is known for its Asian collections. People often regard Eugene as the ideal blend of arts, culture, and outdoor activities. Fifth Street Public Market is the place to go for locally owned cafes and restaurants, while riverside Alton Baker Park and Hendricks Park offer plenty of green spaces within the city. As if all that isn’t enough, the city is located almost exactly equidistant from both Siuslaw and Willamette National Forests, giving keen hikers ample trails to explore.
