Forest Grove

Forest Grove is a charming city located in Washington County, Oregon, in the heart of the Tualatin Valley. It is generally considered a suburb of Portland, which is 25 miles east of the city. Tillamook State Forest is also easily accessible from this city, making it an ideal spot for explorers and adventurers. Keen hikers will definitely want to check out the Oregon Skyline Trail, which is a 428-mile trail extending from Cascade Locks in the north to the Siskiyou Summit in the south. There’s plenty to do close to home too - Sunset Grove Golf Course is up the street, while gorgeous natural areas like Henry Hagg County Park, which sits beside Henry Hagg Lake, offer fishing and kayaking. Fernhill Wetlands is also nearby - ideal for scenic walks and birdwatching.
