On their way to Portland, which is only 21 miles away from the property, guests can stop and explore the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, a natural preserve with hiking and biking trails and an educational center for visitors.

Other natural landmarks in the area include the Tryon Creek State Natural Area, Lake Oswego, and Willamette River. Glampers can easily access the area by air, through the Portland International Airport, located only 35 miles from the city of Newberg.
