This luxurious and unique cabin rental is located in Rhododendron, Oregon, close to Mt. Hood Village, and can accommodate up to four guests. There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms and one full bathroom. The master bedroom occupies the entire upper floor of the property and boasts a queen-size bed, a claw-foot bathtub, and amazing woodland views. A single daybed can also be found in this room, for an additional sleeping option. The second bedroom has another queen-size bed, forest-themed decor, and more amazing views from the window. In the stylish bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a large walk-in shower, which is entered through French doors and has a distinctive river rock floor. Freshly-laundered linens and towels are provided by the host.
In the cozy, open-plan living area, guests will find hardwood floors, high ceilings, a comfy sofa, an extra armchair, and an inviting wood-burning fireplace. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a toaster, as well as an array of handy dishes and utensils. Meals and drinks can be enjoyed at the dining table, which is in between the lounge and the kitchen area. Water-based activities are very popular here, and visitors will have the opportunity to go fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, and tubing. In the winter months, there is world-class skiing and snowboarding to be enjoyed here.
A good option for a rainy day is the Mount Hood Cultural Center and Museum, which is located in Government Camp, 25 minutes from the property. The museum houses historical archives, books, objects, and photos, and provides a great insight into the fascinating history of the region.
