This private dorm-style yurt rental boasts a great location on a mountain farm in Oregon among hundreds of acres of woods and meadows, and is ideal for four guests to go glamping near Portland. Guests must bring their own linens, blankets, and sleeping bags for set of bunk beds inside. The communal bathroom facilities have hot showers and a pit toilet.
After a busy day exploring the best Mount Hood hiking trails nearby, there's nothing better than coming back to the yurt deck to chill out in the fresh air. In the summer guests can also access the communal camper's kitchen made from a converted city bus, where you'll have access to a BBQ, a camper stove, and microwave to prepare your meals.
Communal facilities on site include the organic garden, picnic area, kids play structure, and a year-round creek. There's a BBQ area with seating for meal times, while the camp fire is the place to be come evening time. There are short hikes through the forest on the 50-acre property, while two trail heads are within walking distance: Zigzag Mountain Trail and Castle Canyon Trail. Wi-Fi is available on the deck at the main house.
