This cabin is nestled between a rushing stream and pine trees in a secluded neighborhood of Rhododendron. The location is ideal for a private retreat with a huge range of outdoor activities nearby in Mount Hood National Forest. There is skiing and snowshoeing in winter, and hiking and biking in summer. Adventurous glampers will love Rhododendron. In summer, Sandy River is great for white water rafting, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Mount Hood National Forest has some amazing trails for hiking and biking. The peak climbing season for Mount Hood is from April to mid-June. During winter Mount Hood Meadows Resort is 26 miles away for Alpine and Nordic skiers. The resort has a ski school and equipment for rent. Mount Hood Skibowl is just 15 miles away for night skiing, and an adventure park. Golfers will flock to the Three Nines Golf Course in Welches for a chance to practice their swing. For day trips, guests will be sure to check out Portland, which is only an hour away.
