The cabin is located in the charming mountain town of Sisters, on the western edge of the Willamette National Forest in central Oregon. The cabin is situated right in the center of town, within walking distance of some of the western village’s best restaurants and eateries. Black Butte Mountain and the Metolius River Resort are both located about 30 minutes up the road, where guests can go rafting, kayaking, or fishing during their stay. The national forest surrounding Sisters boasts a number of important peaks, like South Sister peak, Mt. Washington, and Three Fingered Jack, where guests can go hiking or climbing for some outdoor adventure. Read More
Guests of the cabin will find plenty to do in Downtown Sisters, from perusing the boutique shops in the town center, to trying a microbrew at the Three Creeks Brewing Pub, to having a barbecue at one of the available picnic areas in Creekside City Park nearby. The town also boasts a number of spas, art galleries, and pubs for guests to explore. Sisters also has a growing music scene, with a few popular venues that often feature live music by night.
The surrounding Willamette National Forest also has a medley of options for those who love the outdoors, from rafting and fishing on the nearby Metolius and Deschutes River, to hiking near Black Butte Ranch, to climbing on one of the peaks within an hour of the cabin's property. The McKenzie Pass loop offers great views for hikers and more relaxed walkers alike, while the Sahalie and Koosah Falls are excellent destinations for glampers of any age. Hoodoo Ski Area is only 20 minutes up the road for skiers and snowboarders hoping to try the local slopes in the winter time.
