This yurt is located in Umpqua, Oregon, and can accommodate up to four guests. This yurt has a studio layout with a full kitchen, a queen-size loft bed, a queen-size futon, and a private bathroom outside in a covered lanai. The bathroom includes a sink, a toilet, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a two burner stove, crockery, dishes, and utensils. There is also a dining table for two in the living area. Sitting on a seven-acre organic farm, this 450 square-foot yurt can be found in Umpqua, Oregon. Umpqua County is located in the southwestern part of the state right on the Umpqua River, which can be seen flowing through the property. This river access leads to a private beach with a swimming area, where guests can bathe, swim and fish. Guests can also take advantage of this unique location and visit the Umpqua National Forest for scenic hikes and wildlife spotting. When visiting Umpqua, Oregon, guests can expect a pristine country setting with bountiful green landscapes and wildlife viewing. On the property, guests can partake in yoga classes from the hosts or head to the private beach to swim or to fish. Apart from these activities, glampers can also head to Umpqua National Forest, where they can take hiking trails and admire the numerous waterfalls. Adult visitors can also spend their day tasting wine at the many local wineries. The Lighthouse Center Bakery is a short drive away and offers delicious home-baked goods, scrumptious lunches, and great coffee. For a fun day excursion, glampers can visit the nearby towns of Roseburg, Oakland, and Elkton. World-renowned Crater Lake is a scenic two-hour drive away and the spectacular Oregon Coast is only an hour's drive.

In addition, prior to arrival, guests can ask the hosts about the directions to the yurt as they know the best routes. Check-in and check-out times are flexible with prior arrangements. This farm is organic and toxin-free, therefore it is advised to avoid applying chemicals and/or scented products in the yurt and the bathroom. No smoking, incense, or candles. Water is safe to drink straight from the tap.
All gates, especially the gate at the top of the yurt deck ramp, must be kept closed to keep the deer and other animals from entering the food and flower producing farm.
When walking off the maintained trails, guests are asked to please be cautious of the brambles and poison oak. The owners will gladly help guests identify these plants to keep their stay safe and enjoyable. The river can be accessed multiple ways. Lights and heaters must be turned off when leaving the yurt. If returning after dark, inform the hosts so they can leave some lights on. Use the flashlights provided at the yurt.
Skylight dome can be opened a few inches, but do not overtighten when closing the dome, or the dome will crack.
Wi-Fi is typically shut off at night between 22:00 and 7:00. If guests need to use it within those hours, they need to inform the hosts ahead of time. Read More
