Set with lodge-quality craftsmanship, this camping cabin near Eugene, Oregon, has over 300 feet of river frontage, and over 600 feet of creek frontage. It sits on about three acres of land bursting with rhodies, trees and ferns. Located just below Marten Rapids, it offers easy access to fishing, floating or just jumping in on a hot day. Built on a rock foundation, the river front is solid rock—which offers guests one large, natural patio to play on.
There are two rooms available, each sleeping two guests in full-size beds. The cabin rental offers guests quartz kitchen counters, a new family room with recessed lighting, new paint, and new skylights. The main level is 2400 square feet in size, and the upper wing is 700 square feet. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with a Circulon 13 pan set, a Cuisinart, a mixer, a waffle maker, a salad spinner and an electric griddle. There is also a crock pot, an ice cream maker, baking pans, frosting tips and plenty more tools to enjoy.
The main floor features two common areas with a dining area. The upstairs wing is connected to the main floor via an enclosed breezeway – which gives the upstairs wing complete privacy. All beds have been upgraded to feature custom pine frames crafted by a local artist. The upstairs bathroom is shared has a separate, private, showering room. There is also a balcony which offers views of the property.
There is plenty of outdoor seating along the banks of the river, on the back Ipe wood decks, and on the property. Guests will also find paths through the forest which will lead glampers to Marten Creek. Large rocks that rise above the river allow guests to fish in the river. Outside fires are allowed as code permits. There is also a portable grill that operates on propane and comes with one tank provided. Pets are welcome and there is a luxury outdoor hot tub to enjoy.
Facilities here include air conditioning, a clothes dryer, a hair dryer, a fireplace and two wood-burning fireplaces. Enjoy a fitness room containing an elliptical, a bench press, a leg press, free weights, a stability ball, and kettle bells.
There is also heating, internet, and Wi-Fi, as well as an iron and an ironing board. Sheets and towels are provided and laundered by the hosts. Hosts ask that guests bring them to laundry room on the day of departure.
There is a landline and cell for Verizon customers.

Popular sports in the nearby area include cycling, fishing, fly fishing and hiking. There are plenty of golf courses in the nearby area, as well as services for kayaking, rafting, and rock climbing. Guests will enjoy whitewater rafting, water tubing, and mountain biking. Two city bikes are available on site, set with thick tires, and perfect for both mountain and road biking. There is a hand pump in the gym, just in case the tires are in need of air. For skiing and snowboarding, Bend is 90 minutes away. Other slopes are closer, but most prefer Bend.
The McKenzie River is a 90-mile tributary of the Willamette River—it drains part of the Cascade Range East of Eugene and flows westward into the southernmost end of the Willamette Valley. The fish here include Chinook Salmon, Mountain Whitefish, and Bull and Rainbow Trout. Dippers, mergansers, bald eagles, ospreys and various ducks feed on the fish. The Northern Spotted Owl lives in the dense forest on the west side of upper McKenzie Basin in Linn County.
