This cabin is nestled in a temperate rainforest that offers much to do and delve into. There are multiple popular parks in the surrounding area to spend the day at. Eugene and Springfield have many art galleries, restaurants, and breweries where there is a bustling nightlife. The University of Oregon is also next door, with year-round educational opportunities and sports.

The Mckenzie River has an abundance of trout and salmon for those who enjoy fishing and is a short walk to a boat landing for more water activities. The Mckenzie River Trail is one of the best biking trails in the U.S. and also has many walking and hiking trails.
