The fish here include Chinook Salmon, Mountain Whitefish, and Bull and Rainbow Trout. Dippers, mergansers, bald eagles, ospreys and various ducks feed on the fish. The Northern Spotted Owl lives in the dense forest on the west side of upper McKenzie Basin in Linn County.
