Yoncalla

Travel the road that runs between Eugene and Roseburg and around the halfway mark you’ll encounter a city called Yoncalla, nestled in the hear of Douglas County, Oregon. The city is also about halfway between the coast and Umpqua National Forest, so you could say it’s a crossroad of sorts. A 25-minute drive north is where the charming city of Cottage Grove can be found. Here, visitors can spend an afternoon out on one of the many hiking trails in the surrounding area, or even book themselves in for an afternoon practicing their swing on one of the city’s two golf courses. This spot is ideal for a quiet, peaceful getaway to the rural Oregon countryside with plenty of opportunity for relaxing.
