Benton City

Benton City is a small city which rests close to the border that crosses into Oregon. It is a place defined by rich, green, rolling hills, which are famed for producing some of the best wine in the state. While a stroll through the vineyards might be a lovely way for you to spend a day, there is also much more to Benton City than just that. In fact, it is surrounded by soft, sloping mountains which make a nice change from the jagged, glacial ones in the west. Make your way to Red Mountain, where you can go from walking through a vineyard to hiking up the mountain sides. Here, you will be able to catch some of the best views in the area once you reach the top.
