Carlton is a small place which lies on the banks of the Methow River, deep in the mountain landscape of Washington. It is a place that many people come to when they are looking to escape into nature to reconnect with the natural world n a camping trip of a lifetime. Follow the river north to catch your first glimpse into the wilderness, but get your heart racing when you climb Oval Peak. When you are at the top, you will be able to catch sight of some of the best mountain panoramas. You can also go fishing in Lake Chelan, which is nestled between the mountains.
