Chattaroy
Chatteroy is a small town nestled in the heart of Spokane County, Washington. It is located right at the point where the Little Spokane River meets Deer Creek, surrounded by towering trees and a rolling landscape. There are many natural points of interest nearby - Bear Lake Regional Park is only five minutes up the road and offers a picnic area, walking trails, and swimming in the summertime. Further hiking trails can be found at Riverside State Park, which is about half an hour’s drive. Also close by is Mt. Spokane State Park, which is a popular spot for skiing and snowboarding during the winter months and is roughly 44 minutes away from Chatteroy by car. Those craving an afternoon trip to the city can drive 30 minutes south to Spokane.
