One of Eastsound's main attractions is the 5,000-acre Moran State Park, a stunning place for a hiking adventure while on the island. Moran State Park contains over 30 miles of hiking trails, the best of which is said to be the Mount Constitution Trail, due to its 360-degree views of the San Juan Islands, the Whistler Mountains, and the Cascade Range, as well as the Canadian cities of Vancouver and Victoria.

- Whitewater rafting
- Wildlife watching
Glamping in Eastsound on Orcas Island brings together both land and water activities, giving guests many options when it comes to ways to experience the area and pass the time while on vacation. Try a whale watching outing with Outer Island Expeditions, or explore the island waters a different way by sea kayaking with Shearwater Kayak Tours. A sailing trip is a nice way to see all of the islands, too, and Orcas Island Sailing, Emerald Isle Sailing Charters, and North Shore Charters all offer on-water tours.
When on land, opt for a blood-pumping hike, or rent a bicycle and ride off to discover Orcas Island. The aforementioned Moran State Park has plenty of trail options for those who'd like to explore the woodland landscape of the island.
