Freeland

Freeland is a peaceful place on the large Whidbey Island, which rests just off the coast of Washington. It is a place that many city dwellers come to when they want to be surrounded by the natural world, away from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives. However, campers find it particularly fun to visit as there are a number of outdoor excursions they can go on which will make your trip one to remember. When you are here, head to Useless Bay to go on light walks by the sea, and to see if you can spot any whales coming up for air, or venture inland on the island to find Earth Sanctuary. Here, you can go on lush, green trails that will lead you around the small but beautiful wilderness of the area.
