Glacier is a gateway to the Mount Baker National Recreation Area and is within close proximity to Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Ideal for beginner hikers and experienced nature enthusiasts alike, the National Forest offers a plethora of recreation to suit all. With over 1,500 miles of trails that offer scenic stops and a portion of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, glampers will be thrilled to reconnect with the great outdoors.

Baker Lake and Silver Lake are ideal for the avid angler and are fully stocked, while there are two tall volcanoes and plenty of winter activities such as snowshoeing and skiing. Alpine hiking is popular in the area as well, with Church Mountain, Heather Meadows, and Artist Point nearby. Other popular activities include river rafting on Wild Nooksack River, berry picking, bird watching, and sightseeing.
