Set off a quiet lane near Nooksack Falls, Washington, in the stunning Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, guests are close to some wonderful hiking trails and great fishing or boating spots, as well as being within a short distance of great skiing areas at Mount Baker.
The rental, which can sleep up to six guests, has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first floor has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, which features a small seating area with a sofa. The loft acts as the second, spacious bedroom. This space is extremely cozy and it has a queen-size bed and two twin beds. The open-plan living space benefits from high ceilings, comfortable furniture, and rustic tweaks throughout adding to the overall charm of the rental. There is a wood-burning stove and a TV so guests can enjoy a cozy evening in front of a movie on a frosty winter's night. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Guests can enjoy their home-cooked meals at the booth-style dining table which has ample space for everyone to sit together.
Outside, guests have a spacious, furnished deck to enjoy. On a warm summer's evening, guests can fire up the gas-powered grill and enjoy a mouthwatering barbecue, or grill a freshly caught salmon from the nearby North Fork Nooksack River. After a day of carving their way through the slopes, or hiking along forest trails, guests can relax in the private, outdoor hot tub and enjoy the stunning natural beauty surrounding the rental.
This pet-friendly rental has everything that guests could need to enjoy a comfortable stay. There are full laundry facilities that include a washer and a dryer. Additionally, all bed linens and bath towels are provided. The living area features a wood-burning stove, with all wood provided. For entertainment, there's a TV and a DVD player for a movie night. Guests can make the most of some boating, kayaking, or rafting in the North Fork Nooksack River.
With the river being so close, guests can enjoy some fishing. Here guests can enjoy one of the last wild rivers in Washington and the salmon that swims against the currents here. Similarly, Silver Lake Park has an abundance of trout. Furthermore, at Silver Lake Park, during those hot summer months, guests can cool off with a swim in the lake.
In the winter months, guests can enjoy a number of fantastic winter sports. Mount Baker has a wonderful ski area, and with up to 1100 inches of snowfall each year, skiers and snowboarders will love carving their way down the mountain. For those glampers who enjoy a winter trek, snowshoeing is also available to guests. -
