Due to the accommodation's high-bank waterfront location and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of the little ones, the hosts don't recommend this property for families with young children. That being said, many families with children have stayed without incident so the hosts leave it up to the families to make the choice The large deck has locking gates on each side for additional security.

When the rental schedule and guests' travel arrangements permit, the hosts encourage guests to come early and stay later, in order to enjoy more of what this unique property has to offer. The hosts will accommodate early check-in and late check-out whenever possible. Please let the hosts know if this is of interest at the time of booking.

The booking process for this property involves preparing a rental agreement specific to each glamping group. The hosts will need guests' contact information (name, address, home and cell phone numbers, email addresses, driver's license number, and a copy of driver's license for verification). In lieu of a damage deposit, the hosts require a small, non-refundable property damage protection plan, which covers $1,500 of accidental damage with no deduction. The cost of this plan is $59. The host will send guests a link to where they can purchase this required coverage upon receiving the booking request. Once payment is arranged, and they receive a notification of the PDP, the hosts will confirm the booking. There is a two-night minimum stay, except for holiday weekends, which require a three-night minimum stay.
